«JacksonKayak» перестали выпускать детские каяки… Самое маленькое, что есть на офсайте — RockStar 4.0, 202 литра, что хорошо подойдет относительно крупным женщинам и небольшим мужчинам. Последняя модель «JacksonKayak» для подростков RockStar XS (157 литров), сделанная на базе RockStar 2016 в 2017, была первой детской лодкой актуальной формы после ShootingStar, основанной на модели Star 2007 года. «Они продвигали каякинг как семейный вид спорта» — так писали про семью Джексонов. Говорили, что детский каяк Fun 1 был создан конкретно под Дейна. История семьи Джексонов тесно связана с каяками — катался отец, посадил с самых ранних лет в лодки и дочь, и сына. Невозможно представить, что при таком глубоком погружении в каякинг бизнес по производству лодок не был для всей семьи чем-то большим, чем просто способом заработать на жизнь.
Что же — руководство фирмы «JacksonKayak» сменилось, Эрик Джексон отошел от дел и делает карбоновые каяки для рыбалки, Дейн Джексон катается, а семейное дело перестает быть семейным… На сегодня ни одна детская модель каяка не представлена на сайте, Rockstar XS снят с производства. Мне обидно, что столь хорошо сделанная работа пропала, и что наработки для детей больше не доступны.
Так сложилось, что в моем окружении RockStar XS стал крайне популярен. Его пытаются купить, но не могут. У кого есть — донашивают и с тревогой смотрят в будущее, в котором они будут жить без лодки подходящего размера… :)
Мы написали всем: Дейну, Эрику — в инстаграме и фейсбуке. И, заодно, Киму Фонтане.
Ким Фонтане — Чемпион Мира по фристайл-каякингу-2017 (в 2019 стал вторым после Дейна Джексона). Ким недавно открыл свою «Европейскую школу каякинга», он является одним из создателей каяка Gui-Gui Helixir 2018.

Итак, Ким знает о ситуации, для него важно иметь каяки для маленьких каякеров, чтобы обеспечить будущее этого вида спорта. В марте 2021 выйдет Helixir XS. Helixir XS будет иметь почти такой же объем, длину и ширину, что и Rockstar XS.
Параметры EXO Gui-Gui prod Helixir XS:

Ширина: 59см
Высота: 30,5см
Масса: 11кг
Вес гребца: 35/50 кг
На Helixir XS, которые будут производиться, разместят логотип «Европейской школы каякинга» — хотя это нас не то чтобы обрадовало, но любопытный нюанс. Нет, свой логотип разместить нельзя:) Яркие цвета — не проблема. Так что вероятный вид новой лодки может быть такой — не лодка, а рекламный стенд — и EXO, и Gui-Gui prod, и EWWS:)
Форма уже изготавливается, в нее не внести изменения. Ким прислал фото из 3D-редактора — глобальных отличий от Helixir-а для взрослых я не вижу:
Вероятно, в апреле каяки будут в России. Заявленная стоимость — 800 евро (изменилась — 960!).

Thanks for your message. Actually a few months back I convinced EXO to start producing the Helixir XS, and it will be out in March!
I was aware of the situation. For me it was really important to have freestlye kayaks for young kayakers to secure the future of the sport. EXO even agreed to put the logo of the European Whitewater school in all the Helixir XS that are going to get produced.
I am very happy that you wrote this message, it means there is really people out there who might be interested and I am super glad I could help in this sense!
The XS will have almost the same volume, length and width as the Rockstar XS. 👍🏼 I think there are many kids out there that will be happy! And also smaller women like you ☺🙏🏼»

«This is great that there are a few paddlers looking forward to it. I have no idea whenever your local shop (I’m guessing Grigory Ergin??) orders them… so I’d say for sure by April! The price will be 800,00€, so much cheaper than the normal Helixir as we want many young paddlers to be bale to afford it. Hahah, colors are no problem, in the other hand logo is not possible. In my case it was because I invested in the XS project with my own money, but unfortunately customizing logos is expensive!
Good color choice, it’s my favorite. I had a Rexy just like that this year, and my sister has a Helixir like this too! Another good one is blue and purple in my opinion. ☺»

«If the shape of the boat is not yet ready, it would be great to slightly make lower the stern in the back area — on adult models it interferes. Make a small hole in the stern :) Otherwise, the cockpit on the extension loop cuts into the back and makes it difficult to fit snugly to the stern on the Air Screw. The RockStar has a lower stern and is more comfortable to recline on.

Из отличий от взрослой модели — сразу видны ребра жесткости в области ручек. И пиллерсы, вероятно, будут из пены, а не жесткие полиэтиленовые.
Вопрос про форму лодки и ответ Quime в Instagram:
— Форма точно такая же, как у Helixir?
— Нет, он был немного изменен, так как уменьшение размеров лодок — это способ получить лодку-картошку.
На сегодня вообще непонятно, на какой стадии эта лодка. Т.е. она сделана в 3D, отрендерина, но на воде не опробована. При стоимости в 960 евро(!) это на сегодня весьма спорный выбор…
